Map of Braunston, near Daventry and RugbySituated near Daventry, Rugby and Draycote on the Warwickshire and Northampton border, Braunston Paddox Cricket Club currently run two Saturday teams in the South Northants Cricket League and a Wednesday night team in the Rugby & District Cricket League.

We have a friendly family atmosphere within the club but try to maintain a healthy competitive mentality. Indeed, having 2 or more family members in the same team does tend to bring out some of the best performances. We welcome new members both young and old, male or female, regardless of previous cricketing experience and are more than happy to help train and guide people that are keen to learn.

2010 Season

Braunston Paddox narrowly missed out on successive promotions, finishing 3rd in Division 4 with some admittedly sub-par performances and wet weather eating into their total points tally. Next season's aim must be to claim a 2nd Division title in 3 years.

Braunston Paddox "A" will look to improve their confidence and consistency after some shaky performances meant close games were let slip away and narrow wins became narrow losses. A lowly league position not representative of the player quality, they will be looking for a comfortable mid-table next year.

Moore Cup

With the season now complete it all comes down to the figures. Will older brother Daniel have done enough to secure family bragging rights for the next year or could Andrew have caused an upset in his debut year? Presentation Evening for the outcome...

2009 Season

Braunston Paddox won promotion as Division 5 Champions in their first South Northants League season, claiming the most amount of wins in the entire league (14) along the way.

Braunston Paddox "A" finished their last year in the Warwickshire League with some typically inconsistent batting performances including some fairly spectacular collapses to leave them looking forward to a fresh start and a new challenge in the South Northants League.
